Trips to Nowhere.

The Far North.

I first set out with four photographer friends to a little-known region straddling Finland and Russia: Karelia.
Untouched, minimalist landscapes, unique light, an apparent peace masking a wild and unforgiving nature.
I returned with photographs unlike anything I had ever captured before—strange images where you want to lose yourself, to stop knowing, to stop seeking to know.
Hooked, I went back.
Finland again, Sweden, Norway, Iceland several times, the Faroe Islands, Russia once more.
Sometimes with friends, sometimes alone.
Because in the end, the places themselves don’t matter.
Trips to Nowhere doesn’t present destinations, but strange escapes.
Let’s get lost together.

2015-2022.
